Living in the moment isn't about a nihilistic approach of the future. It is the awareness that you have the opportunity to make an impact on your future today. These little things, like having my nutrition dialed in, sleep, and looking at long term goals help me keep both the day to day task and the longterm goals in sight.

I have no idea what the future holds.  What I do know is where I want to be in 5 years.  I want to be stronger, healthier, leaner, smarter, and more financially secure.  There are a lot of little things I can do right now that help me get there.

These things are the little disciplined  decisions we get to make everyday. It is easy to just take things as they come.  Life is a complex and crazy experience for everyone.  I hope you take time to figure out the little things that help you reach your goals.

Read a little everyday, do a few Spanish lessons on my phone instead of scrolling bullshit.

Consistently train and don't get hurt. Keep simple linear progression and sub maximal training program.  Similar to what Daily Destroyer is designed to be.

Mentally and physically.  Am I checking myself and the ego to make sure the feelings and decisions I am making are serving the greater purpose of where we want to be in the future? This allows me to cut ties with any bullshit that is slowing me down or dwell in negative wasted energy.  Taking time to do the stuff for myself.  Journalling, eating foods that help me, taking supplements to help me think and perform better.  Are my hormones and blood levels in check. Monitoring this also allows me to know if something pops up earlier.

This isn't a cut or a bulk. This is consistent nutritional work done for a long time to get better as long as I can. I do this by eating calorically to support whatever the current goals are. Keeping activity levels high enough that I can easily stay in maintenance calories. Staying in maintenance calories while training and fueling for performance will over time continue to make me leaner.  I want to weigh one pound less at the end of the year than it started.  Continue this for next 10 years.  Seems simple but most people will weigh 20lbs more than today.  HOLD THE LINE and fuel your machine to perform.

This for me looks like investing smart in people and companies that I believe in.  Trying to expand my business and work on multiple streams of revenue.

There are a ton of little things and actions that can take place right now, today.  That improve the direction of your life for the positive.  These little things all being sorted out are what allows you to take advantage of a great opportunity when it comes.  The constantly getting better leads to more opportunities as well.   In no world or existence do I see a path forward where I work on all these little things everyday, that I am not drastically better down the road, no matter what.


This is your life and it is ending one day at a time.
